外表平平的金哲秀（薛景求饰）是大韩民国的一名身怀绝技、勇武干练的特工，但在日常生活中他伪装身份，连妻子英熙（文素丽饰）也对其真身一无所知。在老婆面前，他是唯唯诺诺，毫无气场的普通上班族。哲秀就在危险和平凡中小心翼翼保持平衡。某天，即将参加六方会谈的朝鲜代表白武镇乘坐的飞机被恐怖分子击落。由于该次会议事关重大，影响着南北统一和放弃核武的协议签订，因此韩方派出金哲秀和搭档们去泰国营救白武镇拥有丰富核武制造经验的女儿白雪希。与此同时，身为空姐的英熙在和丈夫吵完架后飞赴海外，途中邂逅了英俊帅气的男子莱恩，殊不知此人正是暗杀白武镇的冷血杀手。危机重重的泰国，金秀哲经历着来自国家和家庭的严峻考验……

Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
